Student Polls To Return In Karnataka Colleges, Universities; Political Parties Barred

Karnataka Cabinet has decided to reintroduce student elections in colleges and universities from this year, Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara said. Political parties and student organisations will be barred from participating, while elections will remain optional for students. The government also plans to establish 10,000 Bharat Jodo Yuva Sanghas, targeting 10 lakh members across the state.
