"They can impose UAPA on us": Congress's Subhashis Bhattacharya alleges Nandigram candidate Milan Pradhan forcibly arrested by Bengal police

Congress candidate for the Nandigram Assembly bypoll Milan Pradhan and Pradesh Congress Secretary Subhashis Bhattacharya were arrested in Chandipur, West Bengal, on Friday, according to party leaders. Bhattacharya alleged that he was detained after trying to prevent police from taking Pradhan away and claimed the two were taken to a resort in Mandarmani. Pradhan was arrested in connection with an old case linked to the 2007 Nandigram land acquisition movement, according to reports.
