निवडणूक आयोगातील SIRच्या मुद्द्यावरून अंतर्गत मतभेद असल्याची माहिती सूत्रांच्या हवाल्याने समोर आली आहे. गेल्या १० महिन्यांत १४ वेळा मतभेद झाल्याची माहिती असून, सुखबीर संधू आणि विवेक जोशी यांनी SIRबाबत आक्षेप नोंदवल्याचं सांगितलं जात आहे. आयोगाने काही निर्णय परस्पर घेतल्याची माहितीही सूत्रांनी दिली आहे.Sources have reported internal differences within the Election Commission over the SIR issue.
